Global investors saw the value of a majority of their regional portfolios rise during Q4 on both price effect and active net buying. Global buying of North American equities was a large contributor to aggregate quarter-over-quarter gains as invested assets in the major market rose 11.6%. U.S. stocks were favored amid the Federal Reserve's rollout of QEII which supported a broad-based equity rally during the period.
